Our sailing Classrooms
A spacious and fun little cruiser, Honest, a Yamaha 25, is where we start our ASA101 students. Learning to sail a sloop-rigged keelboat will be an experience you’ll cherish for a lifetime. And aboard Honest, you’ll fall in love with the ocean off Waikiki.
Sailing vessel Tropic Moon is a Catalina 27. This versatile recreational boat is well suited for our island waters with our moderate trades and warm water. The Catalina 27 is one of the most popular boats ever built. Classified as a keelboat with a masthead sloop rig, Tropic Moon is the perfect classroom to hone your sailing skills.
Sailing vessel Seas the Day was built in 1996 in France. She is a Beneteau First 42s7, designed by Bruce Farr. A fiberglass compartment sloop, she has a diesel auxiliary and three double cabins giving ample room below.
The vessel has special distinction of having a Maritime Administration (MARAD) waiver and can be used as an uninspected passenger vessel.
Seas the Day has spent most of her time in Hawaii as a charter sailboat. She is a boat that offers sailing luxury to anyone who sails with her.
